Chukwudi Chidume


Chukwudi Chidume is an adjunct lecturer in the Department of History & Diplomatic Studies, Faculty of Arts, Social & Management Sciences. He has a Ph.D. in Social & Political History from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka. He has taught Fundamentals of Archaeology, Major World Civilizations, Military in Politics of Independent Africa, East/West Relations up to 1991, History of Europe 1789 - 1945, Nation Building in Nigeria, History of Nigeria 1900 – 1970, History of Nigeria 1970 to Present and Regional Economic Integration and Development in West Africa at Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike Ikwo (AE-FUNAI) Ebonyi State, where he has been since the inception of the university in 2012. He has published widely in his research areas of Insurgency, Political History and Terrorism, both in local and international journals. He is a member of the Historical Society of Nigeria (HSN).
