Goodluck Nwaogwugwu

Biography

Goodluck Nwaogwugwu is a scholar in the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Arts, Social & Management Sciences. He has a B.Sc. (Bachelors) Degree in Sociology/Anthropology and M.Sc. (Masters) degree in Demography from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and hopes to enroll for Ph.D. degree as soon as possible. He is currently teaching Elements of Scientific Thought and Introduction to Anthropology. He has publications in international and national journals in his research area. He has been involved in several fieldworks, presented papers at national and international conferences, a member of some professional bodies as well as authored and co-authored some publications. Conferences attended include: (11th National Conference of National Association of Nigerian Teachers (ASSONT) (IMSU); Ist National Conference of Fafunwa Educational Foundation (FEF) (UNILAG); Annual International Conference of the Pan African Anthropological Association (PAAA) (UNICAL); 2nd National Conference of Fafunwa Educational Foundation (FEF) (UNILAG) and African Council for Communication Education (ACCE), 20th National Conference/AGM, (Pan-African University, PAU 2018). However, he has research works accepted for publication in international journal (Journal of Research on Humanities and Social Sciences, ISSN (Paper) 2224-5766 ISSN (Online) 2225-0484), as well as received acknowledgement of his abstract on “public perception of sexual and reproductive rights of adolescents in Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area (LGA) of Abia Nigeria” sent to African Population Studies/Etude de la Population Africaine, to be published by the Union for African Population Studies (UAPS/UEPA). The Journal is indexed in Scopus (SNIP and SJR), IBSS/Proquest, Bioline.
